Pat's special mission is to deliver a new cow to Alf, but this cow has a habit of running away. It causes chaos in Pencaster and gets stuck on a ledge on Greendale Crag. Pat's delivery mission turns into an exciting rescue.

Pat is delivering the 1st prize in the annual treasure hunt - a tepee. Only Lauren knows where the tepee is to be delivered and writes it on an envelope for Pat's eyes only. The envelope gets lost among thousands of other letters. Pat has to take part in the treasure hunt to find the secret location to deliver the tepee. He must win the treasure hunt to deliver the tepee before the kids get there.
Pat has to deliver a wind generator to Ted Glen's workshop. Ted has invited the children to see his new generator in action. The strong winds make it difficult for Pat to complete his delivery - a fence hits the van and causes a problem with the engine. When Ted, Lauren and the children become trapped without power at the workshop, Pat uses the wind generator to make the van move without the engine and saves the day.
When the sorting machine breaks at the mail centre, Pat is asked to deliver two of Ted's robots to help Ben. The robots malfunction causing havoc and Pat has to work out how to fix them. Eventually the robots are delivered and prove to be excellent at sorting through post.
Pat is asked to deliver helium balloons to celebrate the re-opening of Pencaster Town Hall. The kids are being given balloons to release into the sky. At Ted's Garage the balloons are released by mistake, to make matters worse PC Selby gets taken up in the air with them. PC Selby floats over Pencaster Harbour and Pat has to make a daring rescue attempt in his helicopter.
Pat's mission is to deliver a bouncy castle to Lauren's class. The castle is impossible to deliver as it inflates inside the post office. Pat delivers the bouncy castle by helicopter but once delivered Jess gets his claws stuck in the castle and it bursts. Pat remembers that Michael ordered hundreds of sticky plasters for his mobile shop and uses them to cover the holes.
Pat is delivering a telescope to Charlie at Greendale Peak for the once in a lifetime comet that's appearing that night. Pat is late with the delivery when his sat nav leads him in the wrong direction and his van gets stuck in the mud. Pat lassoes himself to safety just in time to deliver the telescope and watch the comet.
Pat's special mission is to deliver a family of hibernating fruit bats to Amy. They are to be the star attraction of her animal day. Pat's delivery is made almost impossible when the bats escape and fly to Ted's mill. With Bill and Julian's help, Pat rescues the bats. Amy's animal day is a huge success as Pat delivers the fruit bats just in time.
Pat is asked to deliver a batch of eggs to Amy. They are due to hatch at midday so Pat needs to get a move on. Pat's journey gets stalled along the way when the eggs are accidentally sold to Michael who in turn sells them to Sara. Pumpkin keeps jumping out of a field and Bonnie chases Jess. Pat finally gets the eggs back, and they start to hatch. Jess incubates the eggs and walks proudly into Amy's followed by six ducklings.
Lizzy and Lauren have arranged a surprise horse riding lesson for Ben. When Amy receives an emergency call out, Pat is called upon to bring Pumpkin to the mail centre. Pumpkin is being a very naughty pony and when he manages to escape, Pat needs to stop him from ransacking Pencaster Market and bring him back in time for Ben's surprise.
Pat has to deliver a film, screen and projector to Michael for his Open Air Movie Night in Pencaster Square. When the projector rolls off down the road and the film reel falls out the back of the van, Pat finds himself in a race against time. Using the special delivery helicopter, Pat locates the film and saves the movie night from disaster.
The kids have bought Bill a remote control car for his birthday and Pat is going to deliver it to Bill's party. On the way, Pat is delivering a remote to Ted, who is fixing Mrs Goggin's TV.
Pat needs to deliver a piano for Lizzy's first ever concert. The problem is that the piano has wheels, and it's as if it has a mind of its own. It slips and slides, rolls down the hills and looks like it is never going to be delivered. With Pumpkin's help, Pat makes it just in time for the concert.
When Pat takes a Special Delivery for Michael's Chinese Summer Festival, he's astonished to find that it's a huge block of ice. It's a race against time to deliver it, especially when Pat discovers that Ben hasn't shut the doors of the van properly and the ice flies out and lands in a field of sheep. When Pat finally delivers it to Greendale he discovers that Michael didn't order a block of ice at all, he ordered an ice sculpture! Luckily Ted is on hand with his toolbox and together he and Pat make sure Michael gets the delivery he ordered...
The kids are doing a show and tell at school based on family heirlooms. Pat is delivering a precious jeweled Indian elephant to Meera when Bonnie grabs the elephant and runs away with it. The jewel comes loose and is then stolen by a magpie who likes shiny things. Pat and Amy head to find the magpie's nest and with a bit of help from Jess they find the jewel and return it to Meera.
Meera decides to order an extra-special teddy for her baby brother Nik, and it is Pat's job to deliver it in time for the Teddy Bears' Picnic that Nisha has organised. When the package gets mixed up with one containing a bell for Rosie the goat, the teddy gets lost and Alf thinks Rosie has eaten the bell. While Alf rushes Rosie to see Amy, Pat needs to save the day and retrieve the teddy in time for the picnic.
When the water tower falls across the train tracks at the station halt, it's Pat's job to pick it up using his helicopter and a giant super magnet. The Magnet soon starts attracting objects - Alf's spade, PC Selby's hat, Pumpkin's bridle, from all over Pencaster and Greendale. A chase ensues as Amy, Alf and PC Selby race to get their metal objects back from Pat. Pat needs to save the day and lift the water tower off the tracks before the Pencaster Flyer comes into the station...
Pat has to deliver a hibernation box to Amy for Dora the Doormouse. Meanwhile the children are looking for a clubhouse for their superhero club. Pat collects the shed from the Sorting Office and uses his helicopter for the delivery but disaster strikes when the shed lands in a tree! When it turns out the shed is not what Amy had ordered, Pat saves the day by making a special home for Dora with cardboard boxes and the shed becomes a special treehouse for the superhero club.
Baby Nik has lost his green rabbit and he can't sleep without it. Meera orders a new one for urgent delivery by the Special Delivery Service. When the Pencaster Flyer breaks down, Pat uses Pumpkin to collect the rabbit, but naughty Pumpkin runs off with it! A chase ensues, the rabbit ends up in Michael's ice-cream machine and is then shot into the sky above Pencaster, ending up on top of a high lamp post. It is down to Jess as the best climber to save the day.
Ben has organised a special surprise party for Postman Pat where he plans to award him a gold star for being the best Postman and always delivering on time! Ben sends Pat off to pick up a Special Delivery from Greendale Post Office so they can decorate, but when Ben needs more time he has to find a way to delay Pat's journey. No road block or hay bales will stop Pat as the Special Delivery always gets through!
Pat needs to deliver Bernie the parrot to Amy for a check-up, before getting Bernie back to the Parrot Sanctuary. On the way Bernie escapes and hitches a ride on the Pencaster Flyer. Bernie gets into all sorts of mischief, he steals Bill's skateboard, gets caught up in Mrs Goggins' scarf and winds up in a boat on Pencaster Harbour. As the storm clouds roll in, it's up to Pat to save Bernie and get him to Amy.
Ted has entered his Red Rocket into the Pencaster Flying Machine Challenge and Pat needs to deliver it to him in time for the race to begin. When Pat lands in Thompson's Field after some gusty winds, one of the sheep starts the Rocket and it lifts off with Pat and Jess inside! With no time to spare, Pat agrees to fly Ted's Rocket around the course... can Pat make it in time and win Ted the trophy?
Pat has to deliver a disco machine to the school in time for the disco that evening. While the children wait excitedly, the disco machine is damaged in an accident and Pat has to take the machine to Ted for repair. To make matters worse, the bridge to Greendale is closed at the last minute and it's up to Pat to find a way to the school in time to save the disco.
Lucy Selby has been missing her dad so Dr Gilbertson and Sarah have arranged a very special surprise party for her. Pat's special delivery is a big cake, and the very special surprise is that PC Selby is hiding inside it! Along the way Pat has to deal with a herd of cows and a runaway cake in his mission to get the cake to the party on time for Lucy's surprise.
On the snowiest day of the year Pat has to deliver a pair of ice skates to Meera - but the snow falls so quickly that he gets trapped inside the sorting office with Ben and Jess. With the roads all blocked and more snow falling, Pat needs to find a way to get through the snow and deliver the skates to Meera.
It's Christmas Eve and the children have made secret santa presents to give to the adults at the Christmas party in Pencaster Square that evening. Pat collects the presents in a giant Christmas stocking using his helicopter, but when the stocking rips the presents start falling out all over Greendale. With the help of Amy and Pumpkin, they find the missing presents and deliver them to Pencaster Square just as the winter snow starts to fall.
