Blue can’t decide what to do today. Mr. Salt encourages us to pick a few items from around the house and use our imaginations to invent something new to do with them—a recipe he calls “Something to do Stew.” We play Blue’s Clues to figure out which three things Blue wants to combine to make something new. Along the way, Periwinkle shows us all the different pictures he can make simply by rearranging cutout squares. We also skidoo to help some friends invent new things to do today.

Steve’s got sneakers on today and that makes him feel like dancing! We play Blue’s Clues to figure out what Blue wants to make a dance about. Some of our friends are inventing dances about the way things in the backyard blow around in the wind, and we help Steve to dance along. Then we skidoo to help a choreographer tell a story about a baby lion and some monkeys through dance.
Blue’s friend Green is over today and we’re playing with blocks. Steve is making a playground for his cow figurines and Blue is building a really tall tower; we play Blue’s Clues to figure out what Blue wants to build to connect the playground and the tower. With a little help from Green, we help Blue figure out how to build a tall block tower that is both balanced and centered. Then we skidoo into a block town where we help an architect follow blueprints to build a road, a giant wall and a bank.
If it’s round and rolls, there’s a good chance it belongs in Blue’s Backyard Ballgame Bonanza. We’re inventing all sorts of new ballgames today and we play Blue’s Clues to figure out which game Blue wants to play. After playing catch with Steve’s imaginary Invisiball we help Periwinkle and Blue figure out how to make a ball bounce as many times as possible. Then, we skidoo to a stadium where we coach Steve through an obstacle course of ball-related challenges.
Somebody new is joining us today — it’s our new plant, Nero! As we learn how to plant Nero in the garden, Steve realizes that he doesn’t know what kind of plant Nero is. But Blue knows so we play Blues Clues to figure it out. While searching for clues, we find Periwinkle pretending to be a plant and we help him figure out how plants live and grow by imagining we’re plants too. We then skidoo to find Blue’s favorite plants and figure out what they do that makes them so smart.
Today we’re acting out puppet stories! We create our very own puppet, Handy, just by using our hand. Steve’s Sock Puppet accompanies us through the day, as we play Blue’s Clues to figure out what story Blue wants us to tell with our puppets. We help Tickety and Slippery figure out how to express various emotions as they act out their puppet story. Then we skidoo into a puppet theater and help figure out what movements we need to use to act out a new puppet story.
Why is Joe so happy today? Because we’re here! Today we’re celebrating the things that make us happy. We play Blue’s Clues to figure out what makes Blue happy. Our friends Periwinkle, Shovel and Tickety are all doing things that make them happy and we help Joe figure out what those things are. Then we skidoo into a game board and meet some new friends who are sad, angry and worried because of their various situations. We help figure out what they can do to become happy.
Joe and Blue are playing Shape Searchers and they need our help. Blue pulls various shapes out of her bag and it’s our job to find things with the same shape all around us! After shape-searching in the living room, we play Blue’s Clues to figure out where else Blue wants to search for shapes. As ace Shape Searchers, we find the shapes in familiar objects all day. In the bedroom, we play Shape Searchers with Tickety, Blue and Joe, making sure to count how many instances of each shape we find. Then we skidoo into the felt frame, where we find a cityscape made of various shapes. We help our shape friends, including Octagon and Rectangle, figure out what city objects they can combine to become, such as a stop sign.
Today we’re making “The Big Book About Us” –- everyone gets a page to fill with pictures of their favorite things! We check in with all our friends to see what they are putting on their pages and play Blue’s Clues to figure out what to put on the front of our book. We help our friends Tickety, Pail and Slippery decide what to put on their pages. Then we skidoo into a sticker book and figure out the similarities and differences between Periwinkle and Blue’s favorite things.
Joe really needs our help today! After helping him play hide and seek, he sees that we're really great helpers and asks if we can help play something else. Blue needs help playing something, so we play Blue's Clues to figure out what she needs help playing. All day we help Joe and our friends with whatever they need. Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper need our help making a special surprise snack for Blue. We help them measure the ingredients for blueberry pancakes! Then we skidoo into the storybook forest where we help Baby Bear, Gingerbread Boy and Cinderella find the things they need to prepare for the porridge party.
"Introduces the new shirt in multiple colors – we will recommend what color the shirt should be). Today we’re painting portraits of some of our friends. We play Blue’s Clues to figure out who else Blue wants to add to our Portrait of Pals. Shovel and Pail need help painting their portraits. They don’t have the right colors, so we figure out which colors they can mix to get the colors they need. Then we skidoo into a book about colors, where we help our color friends Orange, Violet and Chartreuse figure out what primary and secondary colors combine to make them. All the colors then dance, mix and sing the color mixing song along with Joe."
Who’s got rhythm? We all do! Today, everyone has an instrument and we’re clapping along. We play Blue’s Clues to figure out what instrument Blue is going to play in Blue’s Big Band. Periwinkle is playing drums and we practice some of his new rhythms by clapping along. Then we skidoo into a picture, where we help our new friend Piano figure out how to tell a story with different rhythms. Finally, we all assemble into Blue’s Big Band and play some music together!
Today we’re using charts to measure all sorts of things. Mr. Salt needs to figure out what everyone’s favorite snack is so he can make them, so we make a chart to help him out! Throughout the day we ask our friends what their favorite snacks are and add them to the chart. At the same time, we play Blue’s Clues to figure out what Blue’s favorite snack is. We help Shovel and Pail make a chart to figure out which animals they see the most in the backyard. Then we skidoo to a pig farm, where we use a chart to figure how much food to feed each pig.
How much is that hat in the window? Today we’re playing store! Our friends have set up pretend stores and we’re going on a shopping trip. We play Blue’s Clues to figure out what Blue wants to get at the store. We stop by Slippery’s boat store to buy a sailboat. Then we choose the right-sized picture frame at Mr. Salt’s frame store and pick up some strawberries from Shovel and Pail. Then we skidoo into Owl’s furniture store to help pick out the correct sizes of furniture for Giraffe and Elephant.
You’ll never guess what Blue and Periwinkle found in the backyard! It’s a bird’s egg and it’s almost ready to hatch. But we need to be patient and wait, so we think of things to do in the meantime. All day we repeat our mantra: “Wait, wait, wait. What can we do while we wait?” And we play Blue’s Clues to figure out what Blue wants to do while we wait. Periwinkle decides to pass the time by building a toy airplane. We help him figure out how to be patient and not get frustrated as he puts it together. We learn that our third clue is inside of a board game. So we skidoo in and play The Waiting Game in order to reach our third clue. The game requires us to wait on a long line. We help play games to pass the time. Finally, it’s time for the egg to hatch and we meet our newest friend – Baby Bird!
